Leading cards and payments industry body recognises Global Risk Technologies™ for its innovation in chargeback mitigation and remediation

Global Risk Technologies™, Europe’s first chargeback remediation specialist and parent company of Chargebacks911, has been shortlisted for Best Security or Anti-Fraud Development and Best Industry Innovation of the Year at the 2017 Cards and Payments Awards. Judges were impressed by the company’s innovation in chargeback remediation technology, highlighting its tangible results in reducing chargebacks and their associated costs.
Now in its 12th year, The Cards & Payments Awards recognise excellence and innovation in FinTech in the UK and Ireland. The judging panel, comprising industry experts from the likes of Mastercard, Visa and Amazon, commented on the exceptionally high standards of the submissions and the quality of the programmes/products exhibited.
Global Risk Technologies™ was singled out for two awards for its proven record in enabling online businesses to fight chargebacks through reporting fraud metrics, friendly fraud, transaction scoring, issuer scoring and revenue predictions. Working with an online ticketing company, Global Risk Technologies™ demonstrated how it secured a 14 percent reduction in chargeback origination, increased the win rate from 15.8 percent to 58 percent and helped bring about a 50 percent reduction in chargebacks form the cardholder.
